Disabling rain sensor
If the rain sensor gets wet, the skylight operator auto-
matically closes the skylight within 30 seconds.
If you want to open the skylight even if it is raining, you
must disable the rain sensor. When the rain sensor is dis-
abled, the skylight can only open up to 50% of its normal
opening distance and the rain sensor will be disabled for
60 minutes.
The example shows how to open skylight No. 1 (indicated
as "Window" in the remote display) even if it is raining.
1
Locate skylight No. 1 (indicated as "Window").
Press
to open the skylight.
2
The display shows that the operation cannot be executed
because the skylight operator has been limited by the rain
sensor.
3
The display asks whether to disable the rain sensor tem-
porarily.
Press
"Yes" to disable the rain sensor temporarily.
4
The skylight is opened and the rain sensor is now disabled
for the next 60 minutes.
Note: You can combine disabling the rain sensor with
"Auto-Close", see section Closing the skylight automatic-
ally, and in this way choose to disable the rain sensor for a
shorter period than 60 minutes.

Do you have a question about the VSE KLR 100 and is the answer not in the manual?
Questions and answers
My remote is no longer working. I changed the batteries, and turned off the power to the windows to allow a reset. However, I have had no luck. What should I do next?
If your Velux VSE KLR 100 remote is not working after changing the batteries and resetting the power, follow these steps:
1. Ensure Batteries Are Inserted Correctly: Verify that the new batteries (type AA, 1.5 volt) are installed with the correct polarity.
2. Check Battery Level: Confirm the batteries are fully charged and functional.
3. Re-register the Remote: Products operated with the remote must be registered. If the remote is already in use, ensure it is correctly re-registered with the products. Refer to the instructions for registering products.
4. Inspect for Obstructions: Ensure no unknown object is obstructing the operation of the product. If "Blocked" appears on the display, remove the obstruction.
5. Confirm Rain Sensor Status: If the rain sensor has been activated due to rain, temporarily disable it if necessary to operate the product.
6. Reset the System: If the problem persists, consider resetting the system as per the manual’s instructions.
If none of these steps resolve the issue, contact your VELUX sales company for further technical support.
