• The NW-7 bar code can indicate numerical characters (0 to 9) and symbols (-, $, :, /, . , +).

Description
Certain spacing is necessary for the back and forth to scan the barcode.
The particular characters to indicate the start and end of the bar code.
It has four types of start/stop characters (A, B, C, D). This product uses the same
character for both start and stop characters.
On NW-7 bar code, a character consists of seven "Narrow" and "Wide" elements; four
bars and three spaces.
Used to check if the read data is correct or not by putting the value calculated with the
certain formula (modulus 16) on just before the stop character for re-calculation.
The space between two adjacent characters. In this laser marker, it has the same width
as the narrow element.
Usually 5 mm or 15% of the symbol width excluding the quiet zone, whichever is greater.
