    4.4.1 HORIZONTAL AIR TERMINAL INSTALLATION Stretch the inner fl ex pipe to the required length taking into account the additional length needed for the fi nished wall surface. Slip the vent pipe CAULKING a minimum of 2” over the inner sleeve of the air terminal and secure with 3 #8 screws.

Take the time to carefully position the glowing embers for a maximum glowing effect. Log colours may vary. During the initial use of the fi replace, the colours will become more uniform as colour pigments burn in during the heat activated curing process.

    9.0 ADJUSTMENTS PILOT BURNER ADJUSTMENT Adjust the pilot screw to provide properly sized fl ame. Turn in a clockwise PILOT direction to reduce the gas fl ow. BURNER THERMOPILE Inlet pressure can be checked by turning screw (A) counter- THERMOCOUPLE clockwise until loosened and then placing pressure gauge tubing over the test point.
