Using Address Book

How to send an E-mail

You can send an E-mail in any of the
following ways.
For more details on Scan to E-mail Server,
see Software User's Guide: Scan to E-mail
(E-mail Server).

Speed dialling

a
Press
(Address Book).
b
Press the three-digit speed dial number
you want to call. You can also display
speed dial numbers in alphabetical
order by pressing the
the Touchscreen.
c
Press Send a E-mail.

Press Start.
Note
If the LCD shows Not Registered
when you enter or search a Speed Dial
number, a number has not been stored at
this location.

Search

You can search alphabetically for names you
have stored in the Speed Dial memories.
(See Storing Speed Dial numbers
uu page 30.)

• If the LCD shows
Results cannot be found.. when
you enter the first few letters of the name,
it means that a name for the letters is not
stored.
• Speed Dial numbers stored without the
name cannot be retrieved by the Search
function.

LDAP search

If the machine is connected to your LDAP
server, you can search for information such
as E-mail addresses from your server. (How
to set up LDAP uu Network User's Guide)
Press
(Address Book).
Press
(Search) on the
Touchscreen.
Press the first few letters of the name on
the Touchscreen.
Press OK.
Press a or b to scroll until you find the
name you are looking for.
Press the name you are looking for.
Press Send a E-mail.
Press Start.
