Troubleshooting

Problem
The cooker does not work.
The symbol for the type of
heating selected flashes.
The clock display flashes.
The oven does not heat up.
The displays work, but there is
an illuminated square in the
top left hand corner of the
temperature selector display.
"Safety cut out" appears in
the text style display.
The "Er1" or "Er4" error
message appears in the
temperature selector display.
The "Er2" error message
appears in the temperature
selector display and a signal
sounds.
The "Er3" error message
appears in the temperature
selector display.
Malfunctions often have simple explanations. Please
read the following instructions before calling the
after sales service.

The cooker is locked.

The appliance is currently
in demo mode.
The cooker was operated
for a long period without
the setting being changed.
The temperature sensor
has failed.
Faulty mains connection.
The electronic circuits have

Comments/remedy
Look in the fuse box and check that the
fuse is in working order.
Check whether the kitchen light
switches on.
Press the key button until the key
symbol in the display goes out.
Set the function selector to 0 and reset
the type of heating.
Reset the time.
Switch off the cooker fuses in the fuse
box. Wait for approximately 20 seconds.
Switch on the fuses again. Within the
next 2 minutes, press the rapid heating
up button for 6 seconds until the square
in the display disappears.
Switch off the function selector.
Contact customer service.
Switch off the fuses in the fuse box and
connect the cooker properly.
The cooling fan is operating. "Er3" will
clear after cooling and the cooker will
heat again.
