SNMP Configurations

Function
SNMP Port
The listening port for the proxy program of the device/camera. This
is a UDP port not a TCP port. The value ranges from 1 to 65535.
The default is 161.
Read Community
This is a string, and it is a command between the management
process and the proxy process. The read community defines the
authentication, the access control, and the management
relationship between one proxy and one group of the managers.
Please ensure the camera and the proxy are the same.
The read community will read all the objects that the SNMP
supports in the specified time. The default setting is public.
Write Community
This is a string, and it is a command between the manage process
and the proxy process. The write community defines the
authentication, the access control, and the management
relationship between one proxy and one group of the managers.
Please ensure the camera and the proxy are the same.
The write community will read/write/access all the objects that the
SNMP supports in the specified time. The default setting is write.
Trap Address
The destination address of the Trap information from the camera's
proxy program.
Trap Port
The destination port of the Trap information from the camera's
proxy program. This is for exchanging information between the
gateway camera and the client-end PC in the LAN. It is a
non-protocol connection port. It has no effect on the network
applications. It is a UDP port not a TCP port. The value ranges from
1 to 65535. The default is 162.
