Dubbing starts automatically
with input of the
playback signal, ensuring synchronization

the two units.

Turn on the TV.
Set the TV to the video channel. If using an
AVable,
set if to AV mode.
@ Connect the two units as shown in the
illustration above.
Recording
VCR

Insert a video cassette with
erasure-prevention
tab.

Press the INPUT button to select the
external input mode
"L1" instead of the
programme
position number.
Playback
VCR (Camcorder)

Insert
a video cassette to be dubbed.
@ SeleCt the point to start playback.
Synchro dubbing
Recording VCR

Turn off the VCR using the 0/1 button.
Press and hold the
PAUSE/STILL
button
on the VCR at least for 3 seconds.
The VCR goes into synchro dubbing
standby mode. The
"REC
indicator is
flashing on the VCR display.
Playback VCR (Camcorder)

Start playback.
Recording starts automatically
as soon
as playback commences.
If playback is stopped, the VCR returns
to synchro dubbing standby mode.
To avoid recording an unwanted passage,
press the PAUSE/STILL
button on the
Recording VCR when the unwanted passage
is reached.
The VCR goes into recording pause.
To continue recording, press the REC button.

When finished, press the STOP button on
both units.
The cassette will automatically
be
ejected if the
STOP
button is pressed
when the recording VCR is
in synchro
dubbing
standby
mode.
Manual dubbing

Atthesametimeas
starting playback,
start recording by pressing the REC
button on the Recording VCR.
To
avoid recording an unwanted passage,
press the PAUSE/STILL
button on the
Recording VCR when the unwanted passage
is reached.
The VCR goes into recording pause.
To continue recording, press the REC button.

When finished, press the STOP button on
both units.
