TROUBLESHOOTING
Possible Cause
Scaling on the sensor
Expired #1 and #2 water fil-

Missing flow control in drain

Storage tank air charge is
less than 5-7 psi
Scaling on element
Heavy sediment in tank
Dry filters may have higher
potential for this as water
works through the dry filter
initially

Corrective Action
Replace #1 sediment filter and
#2 RO filter. See steam
humidifier manual trouble-
shooting section for specific
humidifier steps
Replace flow control (provided
with 50046086-001 / 011)
Drain the storage tank. Check
tank air pressure and, if low,
pressurize to 6 psi

for cleaning steps
Fill the filters with water before
connecting the RO outlet to
the humidifier, letting the water
run into the drain or a bucket.
Once air is out of the RO out-
let line, turn off the water and
connect RO outlet to humidifi-
er. Turn water back on
