Lines The IP Phone has up to four lines (L1‐L4) to make and receive calls to your telephone number. The line key will change color when in use (flashing red when a call is incoming, red when in use and green when not in use.) Speaker Press “Speaker/Headset”. Mute Press “Mute”.

IP Phone Features (Top) Download the 55i Label Template for the top of the phone at: http://www.onecommunications.com/support Feature Phone Voice Mail Press “Voice mail”. Call List Press “Call List” to view a list of callers. Use Up/Down Navigation button to select number. Press “Dial” soft key to place call. If using ‘9’ for an external line, click “Edit” and insert the ‘9’ before pressing dial. Directory Press “Directory” to view a list of extensions in the Business Group. You can add numbers to the directory using the “copy” soft key on the IP Phone. There is no import feature. Do Not Disturb Press “DND” and the red light indicator will appear. Callers will (DND) automatically be sent to voicemail. To remove press “DND”.

IP Phone Features (Middle) Feature Phone Dial To dial, the phone must be off the hook. Press “Dial” soft key to place a call. 3 Way To conference, the phone must already be connected to a call. Conference Press “Conf” soft key and enter the phone number of the party you wish to conference in. Press “Conf” soft key to connect all parties. Transfer To transfer, the phone must already be connected to a call. Blind Transfer Press “Xfer” soft key and enter phone number. Press “Xfer” again to blind transfer. If left unanswered, the call will be routed to voice mail. Announced Press “Xfer” soft key and enter phone number. Speak to call recipient Transfer and then press the “Xfer” soft key. If the recipient wants the call to go to voice mail, he or she must press the “DND” soft key prior to hanging up.
Voice Mail Setup This will take about 2 minutes Click the voice mail button on the IP Phone. Follow the voice prompts to set up your voice mail. • Record your name. • Set your voice mail PIN (6‐20 digits long) which is also used for the CommPortal. – The pin cannot be any part of the telephone number – The pin cannot be a sequence of numbers (not 123456) – The pin cannot repeat any number more than two (2) times (not 5551234) • Record a personal greeting or keep the standard greeting with your recorded name. Note: After initial setup, you can access your voice mail remotely by dialing your phone number and pressing the ‘*’ button.

CommPortal Access • The CommPortal* is a web tool which allows you to view missed calls, listen to voice mail messages, view contacts, and set up rules to handle your calls. • Access to the CommPortal is available from any location with Internet connectivity. – Go to https://hostedpbx.onecommunications.com. – Enter your 10‐digit phone number. – Enter the PIN that you created when you set up your voice mail. *System requirements are listed in the Quick Start Guide.

CommPortal Demo • The “Tabs” (top line) provide navigation to the key features. “Tabs” Dashboard: provides a quick view of the most common functions. Messages & Calls: provides call history. Contacts: provides a method for storing and retrieving contact details. Call Manager: allows customer to manage how incoming calls are handled. Settings: provides access to call service settings.

CommPortal Standard Buttons • Below the navigation “Tabs” there are several standard buttons located on the right side of the page. Button CommPortal Function Click to Dial allows you to enter a phone number that will be called from your IP phone. Logout exits the CommPortal. You are automatically logged out after 30 minutes of inactivity. Refresh updates the page with recent phone and message activity.

Premium Seat Features • CommPortal Assistant (CommAssistant) Tool Bar* ® – Microsoft Outlook Integration allows you to synchronize contacts and use the existing “Call Contact” button. – Toaster Pop‐up provides an indication that a new message has arrived. • Remote Click to Dial allows you to use a remote telephone to make calls and caller ID displays your IP phone number. • Find Me/Follow Me is a subscriber location service for incoming calls. • Incoming Call Manager is a call handling service. *System requirements are listed in the Premium Seat Quick Start Guide.

CommAssistant Tool Bar • The CommAssistant Tool Bar is a thin software client which runs on your PC and offers convenient access into your account. Go to the Settings tab and choose CommPortal Assistant. Download the Tool Bar.
