Text Display Switching

Changing the text display.

Show the Multi-function display
Press the [NEXT] button repeatedly until
"Display" appears.
Refer to <Notes on Multi-function System> (page
9).

Enter display control mode
Turn the [VOL] knob to select "Display".
Press the [VOL] knob.

Select the display mode
Turn the [VOL] knob to select "Mode".
Press the [VOL] knob.

Select the display Type
Push the Control knob towards [4] or
[¢].
Select the "Display Type C"/"Display Type D"
display.

Enter text select mode
Turn the [VOL] knob to select "Text".
Press the [VOL] knob.

Select the text display part
Select the display mode
Press the Control knob.
Each time you push the knob, the display mode
alternates between the display modes shown in
the table below.

Select the row
Push the Control knob towards [FM] or [AM].
The cursor (Ü) moves to the selected text display
part.
Select the text
Push the Control knob towards [4] or
[¢].
Refer to the table described later for setting
items.

Exit Display Control mode
Turn the [VOL] knob to select "Return".
Press the [VOL] knob.
• Same information cannot be displayed in 1st – 4th
text display part. However, the blank display is able to
have multiple selections.
• * If the contents of the information cannot be
displayed, either of the following is displayed:
- In the 1st text display part1 , the play time or
frequency is displayed.
- In other modes, blank is displayed.
• *¹ If the contents of the information cannot be
displayed, "No Name" is displayed.
• *² If the contents of the information cannot be
displayed, "No Text"/"None"/"Obscure Audio" is
displayed.
• If the contents of the information for the SIRIUS
tuner source cannot be displayed, channel number is
displayed.
• Setting in some rows cannot be changed during
interrupt mode (e.g., traffic information).
