Applying the Filter

When the filter design is finished, you must tell the router where to apply the filter. Apply it as a
Call Filter in the remote node that reaches your DNS server(s) (usually your ISP node). Go to
Menu 11.1, Remote Node Profile, and toggle Edit Filter Sets to Yes (using the spacebar). This step
brings up Menu 11.5 - Remote Node Filter. Enter the number of the filter under Call Filter Sets
protocol filters as shown in
entering their numbers separated by commas.
Figure 9-8
shows the Remote Node Filter menu.
Press ENTER to Confirm or ESC to Cancel:
