Cleaning Guide
Caution: Before cleaning any portion of the stove make
sure all controls are off and the stove is cool.
Avoid use of abrasive cleaners. Finishes may become
scratched.

Do not use steel wool, abrasives,

cleaners. To safely clean surfaces,
wash, rinse and then dry with a soft
cloth.

Painted Surfaces

Painted surfaces include the sides,
control panel and drawer front. Clean
these with soap and water or a
vinegar and water solution. Do not
use commercial oven cleaners,
cleansing powders, steel wool or
harsh abrasives on any painted
surface.
Acid (tomato, cherries, rhubarb, citrus and vinegar) may
stain if not wiped up immediately. Exercise care if
surfaces are hot. Use a dry cloth or paper towel.
General Directions
1.After using household cleaners, rinse with water and wipe dry.
2. Avoid use of ammonia cleaners.
1.Coil elements will burn off most spatters and spills. To reduce
smoking, wipe large spills off with damp cloth. Do not immerse
elements in water.
2.Follow manufacturer's instructions. Avoid getting on other
surfaces.
1.Remove door to allow better access to oven.
2.Follow manufacturer's instructions. Protect surfaces other than
inside of oven cavity and door area within the oven door gasket.
Wipe off painted or metal surfaces immediately as surface
damage may occur. Avoid getting on elements.
2.Follow Self-Clean, Safety and Timer Instructions. Do not use
commercial oven cleaner on Self-Cleaning oven. Avoid getting
any cleaning materials on oven gasket.

1.Soak in hot water and soap. Scrub with plastic scouring pad.
2.Remove excessive grease. Follow manufacturer's instructions.

Glass Surfaces
To clean glass surfaces use a glass
cleaner. Rinse and polish with a dry
cloth.
