Configuring the Client Lease Time

Perform this task to configure the client lease time. It defines the time period after which the client lease
expires.

Purpose
Enters the IPv4 DHCP configuration mode.
Creates a DHCP proxy profile.
Inserts relay agent information for remote id suboptions such as
remote-ID value.
commit—Saves the configuration changes and remains within
the configuration session.
end—Prompts user to take one of these actions:
• Yes— Saves configuration changes and exits the
configuration session.
• No—Exits the configuration session without committing the
configuration changes.
• Cancel—Remains in the configuration mode, without
committing the configuration changes.
