Adjusting the volume on your staff console or
annunciator
You can control the call volume for the speakerphone, handset,
headset, and the alert tone for your staff console or annunciator.
This is a local setting, and does not affect the volume of other staff
consoles or annunciators. Note that alert tones cannot be turned
off.
In addition, you can use the staff console to set the volume of calls
on any staff or patient station to which you are connected. These
settings will apply to calls received from any staff console or
annunciator in the nursing unit.
To adjust the call volume of the speakerphone, handset, or
headset:
1.
While connected to a call, press the Volume button. The Change
Volume dialog box appears.
2.
Slide the Speaker button up or down to increase or decrease
the volume..
3.
Press Save. The new settings will remain in effect until they are
changed again.
To adjust the alert tone volume of a staff console or annunciator:
1.
Click the Audio tab, then press the Volume button. This opens
the Volume dialog box.
2.
Slide the Tones button up or down to increase or decrease the
volume of alert tones. It is not possible to turn the tones off. The
new settings will remain in effect until they are changed again.
Adjusting the call volume on remote patient and staff
stations
From your staff console, you can adjust the volume of voice
communications on staff or patient stations. This must be done
while you are connected to the station. The new volume setting will
apply to calls received on the station from any staff console or
annunciator until it is changed again, from any staff console or
annunciator.
