    Ethernet device requirements vary with specific applications. Regarding intended use, however, they fall into two categories: • Components of the Ethernet Open Connectivity Network, which links an HC900 Hybrid Controller to Peers, to HMI Supervisory Stations, and to other Ethernet 10Base-T devices that support TCP/IP.
