To connect any of the RJ-45 ports on your hub to a PC, use a regular straight-through UTP cable. If you are connecting using port 16 on the Model EN516 hub or port 24 on the Model EN524 hub, set the Normal/Uplink push button to Normal. -

Set the Normal/Uplink Push Button If you are connecting to port 16 on the Model EN516 hub or to port 24 on the Model EN524 hub, use the following table. You can connect other Model EN516 or Model EN524 hubs, servers, workstations, or other devices to the BNC port. A BNC-T connector is inserted in the port, and the 50 terminator terminates the connection at each end device.
