Detergent compartment

The compartment is divided into four for pre-
Fig.
wash, main wash, rinse and bleaching-agent/

liquid detergent.
The detergent compartment of the machines is
described in detail in section 39. Detergent
compartment.

Drain valve

This valve is a diaphragm valve that opens and

closes by way of the water pressure. The control

valve is situated next to the water valves.

Frame and dampers

The drum assembly is freely suspended by
Fig.
springs and is allowed to move in relation to the
10
frame. This means a minimum of vibrations are
transferred to the frame, which implies simplified
installation since the machine need not be placed
on a concrete base.
The machine uses four coil springs between the
frame and drum assembly. Each spring is fitted
to one or two shock absorbers that dampen drum
movement.
