    Setting Surface Controls General Cooktop Information About the Ceramic Glass Cooktop The ceramic cooktop has radiant surface elements RIGHT REAR located below the surface of the glass. The design of the ceramic cooktop outlines the area of the surface element LEFT underneath.

    Setting Surface Controls General Cooktop Information Use the table below to determine the correct setting for the kind of food you are preparing. The Simmer settings are used to simmer and keep larger quantities of foods warm such as stews and soups. The lower Simmer settings are ideal for delicate foods and melting chocolate or butter.
  • Page 8 Setting Surface Controls Operating the Single Radiant Surface Elements (continued) To Operate Simmer Select Surface Element The left front element control may be used as a normal element or as a simmer element. The “Simmer Select” feature heats the element at a much lower temperature than when used as a normal surface element. You may switch between normal cooking and the Simmer Select feature at any time during the cooking process.

    Réglage des éléments de surface Informations générales Surface de cuisson en vitrocéramique RIGHT REAR Des éléments électriques radiants sont situés sous la surface de cuisson vitrocéramique.
