9. Install the bulb holder cover. NOTICE: Make
sure the headlight bulb holder cover is se-
curely fitted over the bulb holder and seat-
ed properly.

10. Install the headlight unit cover by installing the
screws.
11. Place the headlight assembly in the original
position, and then install the screws.
12. Connect the coupler which was disconnected
in step "1".
13. Adjust the headlight beam according to the
following section "Adjusting a headlight
beam".

NOTICE
It is advisable to have a Yamaha dealer make
this adjustment.
To raise a headlight beam, turn the headlight beam
adjusting screw in direction (a).
To lower a headlight beam, turn the adjusting
screw in direction (b).

Replacing the tail/brake light bulb

If the tail/brake light bulb burns out, replace it as
follows.
1. Open the storage compartment. (See page
4-20.)
2. Remove the tail/brake light assembly by re-
moving the nuts together with the washers.
