    ryer selection knob o Turning the selector dial (1) allows you to select the drying program according to your laundry. o The selector dial is divided into four s ections:  Cottons  Synthetics  Time  Special o After you h ave selected your desired program you must press the tart button (3) within 10 minutes or the appliance will return to standby mode.

    electing a drying program Program suggestions o Below is a list of functions which the dryer can perform which should help you select the most appropriate drying cycle for your needs: Automatically co ntrolled drying o The appliance detects the mo isture in the load and automatically adjusts the drying time accordingly for optimal drying.

    ptional functions Depending on what program you have chosen, you are able to select dditional functions. These must be selected after choosing your desired drying program, but before you press the start button. When the relevant button is pressed the corresponding LED light will illuminate. If the button is pressed again the LED light will go out and the function is then deselected.

    aintenance and cleaning In daily use o The filter should be cleaned after each drying cycle. o Leave the porthole door ajar for a short while after a drying cycle as completed. This should help to prevent stagnant smells and to protect the door seal.

    he filter o It is important to remove fluff from the filter after each drying cycle. o You sho uld disconnect the appliance from the mains supply before cleaning the filter. o The filter is located inside the doorway rim at the bottom, as shown in the below diagram.

    ositioning The appliance should be positioned on a solid and flat surface. This will duce vibration and noise. Large amounts of vibration can damage the appliance. If required, you can use the adjustable feet to help level the appliance o Loosen the locking nut o Turn the feet right to increase the height.

    o The hose should not contain more than two bends, and you should not allow the hose to become blocked or kinked. IMPORTANT: If outlet is far away from your appliance, thus making the hose long in length, then you should take steps to revent water condensation from interfering with the appliance.
