Editing an Existing Configuration File
Editing a configuration file allows you to open and edit a configuration file that you have previously
saved. After you edit the configuration file, you can view the Upgrade Summary, and, if applicable,
proceed with the upgrade as configured.
To edit a configuration file
1.
On the Configuration page, click Edit Configuration File.
2.
Do one of the following to open the file:
In the Locate Configuration File dialog box, type the full path name and file name for
the configuration file next to Configuration File.
Click Browse to locate the file using a file browser. (The browser displays only files with
the .Config extension.) Click the file in the file browser, then click Open to select the file.
3.
In the Locate Configuration File dialog box, click Load to open the configuration file.
When you edit a configuration file, the file opens on the Disk Selection page.
