Activating the Child Safety
Device
The child-safety function is used to
prevent children or others from turn-
ing on the grill unintentionally.
When the child-safety is activated,

Activating the child-safety device
1. Turn the grill on by pressing

2. Press for 3 seconds. The con-
trol lamp for the child-safety
lights up.
If you attempt to turn the grill on
while the child-safety is activated,
the control lamps for

To use the grill while the child-
safety is activated, do as follows:

use simultaneously.
The child-safety will be deactivated
for as long as you use the grill.
When you turn the grill off, the
child-safety will automatically reac-
tivate.
