To remove the battery pack from the Player

Make sure the Player's power is turned off and then unplug the DC cord.

To open the battery pack compartment cover, while pressing at the
mark, slide the cover forwards (1), and raise it upwards (2).

While holding the "
in the direction indicated by the arrow.

Slide the battery pack compartment cover into its original location at about
45° (1), and lower the cover to close it (2).
Important!
• Never remove the battery pack while a playback operation is in progress.
