• Always stop the engine when o peration isdelayed orwhen w alking from

• Stop t he engine for m aintenance, repair, toinstall orremove the blower
tubes. The unit must bestopped and the impeller nolonger turning to
avoid c ontact with the rotating blades.
• Ifyou strike orcome i nto contact with aforeign object, stop t he engine
immediately and check fordamage. Do not o perate before repairing
damage. Do not o perate the unit w ith loose o rdamaged parts.
• Use o nly g enuine factory replacement parts a nd accessories for t his
unit. These are available from your authorized service dealer. Use o fany
unauthorized parts o raccessories could l ead t oserious injury tothe user
ordamage tothe unit, and void y our warranty.
• To reduce fire hazard, replace faulty muffler and spark arrestor. Keep the
engine and muffler free from grass, leaves, excessive grease orcarbon
build up.
• Never point the blower inthe direction ofbystanders, animals, windows or
automobiles.

• Never store t he unit, with fuel inthe tank, inside abuilding where fumes
may r each an open f lame ( pilot lights, etc.) orsparks (switches, electrical
motors, etc.).
• Allow t he engine tocool before storing ortransporting. Be sure t osecure

unauthorized use ordamage. Keep out o fthe reach ofchildren.
• Never douse orsquirt the unit w ith water orany other liquid. Keep handles
dry, clean, and free f rom debris. Clean after each u se, see Cleaning and
Storage instructions.
• Keep these i nstructions. Refer tothem often a nd use them toinstruct other

SPECIAL NOTE: EXPOSURE TO VIBRATIONS THROUGH PROLONGED
