■ Emergency Stop
NOTICE:
●
Emergency stop sets air conditioners connected to the specified adapter as follows and then stops all
units.

RC operation prohibit: Prohibit all
Configuration for RC prohibit remains if RC operation prohibit is set prior to the receipt of emergency stop
(all/individual) signal.

Partial prohibition II support unit: RC setting will remain.
●
Partial prohibition II non-support unit: RC Setting will be cleared.
* Partial Prohibition II support unit consists of the following models.
1. Indoor unit: H-Link support unit except for wall mounted type. (When remote controllers in (2) and (5)
are connected.)
2. Advanced wired remote controller: PC-ARF1
3. Simplified wired remote controller: PC-ARH1
4. Receiver kit: PC-ALHP1, PC-ALHC1, PC-ALHD1, PC-ALHS1, PC-ALH3, PC-ALHZ1
5. Multi-function Design Remote Controller: PC-ARFG or later

Do not control air conditioners (including schedule and external input functionality) for 15 minutes after
emergency stop (all) signal has been cleared. Commands may not be completed correctly
●
Upon receiving emergency stop (all) signal, indoor units once operate in Fan mode and then all stop.
●
When using emergency stop (all) to units with function selection configured, check if the configuration is
still as desired after emergency stop signal is cleared.
Emergency stop (all) is a function effective only for H-Link support unit.
●
To use emergency stop function, set from Central Station EX to use Emergency stop (all/individual).
Applying external input signal directly to indoor units, indoor units may operate according to schedule
function of Central Station EX even while emergency stop is commanded.

Ensure that Central Station EX receives external input signal for emergency stop (all) for 1 minute or
longer.
●
Central Station EX system controls emergency stop via communication wirings. The control process is
not completed successfully if the communication line is disconnected. Manually turn OFF the power on
air conditioner in such cases.
●
Emergency stop (Individual) sets specified air conditioners connected to as "Stop" and "RC operation
prohibited" and then stops units. This control may take up to 7 minutes depending on the system scale.
●
The operation status and RC prohibit status returns to the setting of before emergency stop (individual)
signal input when the signal is cleared.
●
Do not set emergency stop when using with other central controllers.
Emergency stop (individual) can be set for systems that can use the RC operation prohibit when using
other central controllers in combination.
