Direct Drive Motor

The direct drive motor is a three-phase motor.
The three-phase inverter is incorporated into the
main board and provides to power the direct drive
motor. The direct drive motor consists of a rotor
and stator.
Direct Drive Motor Diagnosing
The output voltage from the inverter to the motor
is variable and should not be tested. The direct
drive motor resistance may be verified at the main
board, J1001, 5.8-ohms between pins 6 and 7, 7
and 8, 6 and 8.
Direct Drive Motor Removal
1. Unclip the main harness from the motor
connector by pushing down on the connector
clip. The clip is large enough that it can be
done with one hand. The motor side of the
harness is secured in place.
