Cannot reset the file=number.
• If you replace a recording medium, you cannot initialize file numbers with the camera. To
initialize file numbers, lbrmat the "Memory Stick Duo" (page 63, 66) or the internal memou,
and then initialize the settings (page 67). However, the data on the "Memory Stick Duo" or
the internal memory will be deleted and all settings, inchlding date, will be initialized.
The camera does not function with the lens portion extended.
• Do not attempt to force the h:ns Ihat has stopped moving.
• Insert a charged batte W, then turn on the camera again.
The lens gets fogged.
• Moisture condensation has occurred. Turn off the camcnJ and h:ave it lbr about an hour before
using it.
The lens does not move when you turn off the camera.
• The battelT pack is discharged. Replace it with a charged battery pack.
The camera becomes warm when you use it for a long time.
• This is not a malf.nction.
The Clock Set screen appears when you turn on the camera.
• Set the date and time again (page 74).
