7. Set speed to 400 SPM and start machine.
Note: Alternatively, you can use a screw-
driver to rotate shaft of motor.
— If blade oscillation is acceptable, adjust-
ment is complete.
— If blade oscillation is not acceptable repeat
Steps 5–7.
Aligning Blade
Mounts
The blade mounts may become misaligned with
use, which results in the blade no longer being
aligned with the motion of the machine and being
out of square with the table. A symptom of this
condition is persistent blade run-out.
Tools Needed
Hex Wrench 4mm.............................................. 1
Small Machinist's Square .................................. 1
To align blade mounts:
DISCONNECT MACHINE FROM POWER!

Tilt frame to 0° and tighten frame lock lever.
Place machinist's square flat on table with one

edge against side of blade (see Figure 41).

— If blade is square to table, no further adjust-

— If blade is not square to table, proceed to
