GENERAL
Cleaning and inspection are important functions that should be performed
routinely to ensure continued safe, efficient operation of the simulator.
CLEANING
1.
Unplug the Model 325 Simulator from AC power and disconnect from the
maternal/fetal monitor.
2.
Dampen a soft cloth with a mild soap and water solution. Gently rub soiled
areas on the simulator exterior until clean.

Do not allow liquids to enter the openings around the
switches.
3.
Wipe simulator dry with a clean, soft cloth.
INSPECTION
1.
Check the overall appearance and physical condition of the simulator for
signs of any obvious damage.
2.
Inspect the interconnection cable and AC power cord for cracking and
fraying.
3.
Inspect the AC power cord plug for broken or bent prongs.
