Electrical safety

Before use, check that the mains voltage
corresponds to the voltage on the rating plate.
Appliance plugs must match the outlet. Never
modify the plug in any way.
Do not use any adaptor plugs with earthed
(Class I) appliances. Unmodified plugs and
matching outlets will reduce the risk of electric
shock.
To avoid the risk of electric shock, do not
immerse the cord, plug or appliance in water or
other liquid.

Mains plug replacement

WARNING! The below section on mains plug
replacement is for authorized service centre
persons.
If a new mains plug needs to be fitted:
Safely dispose of the old plug.
Connect the brown lead to the live terminal in
the new plug.
Connect the blue lead to the neutral terminal.
This product is class I (earthed), connect the
green/yellow lead to the earth terminal.
Follow the fitting instructions supplied with good
quality plugs. Any replacement fuse must be of the
same rating as the original fuse supplied with the
product.

Before First Use

Note! Read all instructions and safety information
carefully before first use. Please retain this
information for future reference.
Carefully unpack and remove the parts from the
packaging.
Place the slow cooker on a flat, dry surface.
Remove any promotional labels or stickers.
Wash the cooking pot and glass lid in hot soapy
water with a mild household detergent.
Rinse and dry thoroughly.
DO NOT immerse the appliance, its cord or plug in
water or any other liquid.
Do not use harsh abrasives or chemicals.
Dispose of the packaging in a responsible manner.
Wipe the exterior of the slow cooker heating base
with a clean, damp cloth.
Your appliance is now ready for normal use.

Using Your Appliance

Place the base of the slow cooker on a flat, dry,
heat resistant surface.
Place your prepared ingredients into the cooking
pot and cover with a glass lid. Ensure the lid is
centred. Fill the pot between 1/2 and 3/4 capacity
to avoid over or under-cooking. Do not overfill the
cooking pot.
Plug the slow cooker into the mains outlet. There
will be a sound prompt to indicate the unit has
been plugged in.
Cooking With The Appliance
Once the unit has been plugged in, short-press
the centre of the control dial to turn the unit on.
The unit's LED display will come on with the digits
flashing to show the unit has been turned on.
When the unit is turned on and the digits on the
LED display are flashing, press the S button to
select Cooking mode. The corresponding indicator
will light up on the unit's control panel to show this
mode has been selected.
Alternatively, turn the control dial while the
display is flashing to cycle through and select the
required cooking time. Turn this dial clockwise to
increase the cooking time, or counter-clockwise to
decrease it.
Note! The cooking time increases or decreases in
increments of 1 hour, from 1 to 16 hours for High and
Low temperature modes, and from 1 to 4 hours for
Keep Warm mode.
