Placing Clear Calls with Redial
In case of abusy signal, redial by pressing the IredialI key. The terminal
will dial and display up to 32 keystrokes entered during the last dialing
sequence. You must include pauses required by the local telephone equip¬
ment to reach an outside line.
Use the following procedure to place aclear call usinglREoi^.
©Take the handset off-hook and listen for adial tone.
NOTE
If the speakerphone option is enabled, the call can be initiated b\ pressing \SPKR |.

Press REDIAL .

Wait for the terminal to dial the last entered number sequence.

Speak at normal level. If desired, adjust earpiece or speakerphone vol¬
ume by pressing IvoL A| or IvoL V|.
N O T E
With the MUTE annunciator on, you can hear the other party, but the other party does
not hear you. Press IMUTE |to activate the handset or speakerphone microphone
(unless you have configured the SECTEL 1500for the Clear Mode Muted during
installation). Refer to Chapter 3, Software Settings, to change mode configuration.
(J) To end the call oresslRES^. place the handset on-hook, or if using
speakerphone press IspkrI (be sure the SPKR annunciator goes off).
N O T E
With the handset on-hook, and the speakerphone inactive, you can adjust the ringer
volume by pressing \VOL A| or IVOL V.
