PROPER USE Honeywell Waterproof Fire Chests are designed to protect paper documents and files from heat and moisture damage due to exposure to fire and water. IMPORTANT: Before using your new chest it should be opened and aired out for at least 30 minutes to allow the waterproof seal to decompress and perform as intended. -
