Operating your Toaster Always choose a safe location for the toaster, keeping in mind the safety precautions outlined. Ensure all packaging has been removed from the unit before use. This appliance requires no installation. WARNING: This appliance generates heat during use. Proper precautions must be taken to prevent the risk of burns, scalds, fires or other damage to persons caused by touching the exterior while in use. - Page 6 Cleaning The unit must be cleaned thoroughly after each use. To avoid risk of electric shock, before cleaning, you MUST ALWAYS switch off and unplug the unit. Allow the toaster to cool before cleaning. DO NOT use harsh chemicals to clean the toaster.
