PRECAUTIONS
Notice
Indicates points that you must observe in order to prevent product
failure, damage or malfunction and data loss.
• Do not store this product in the following places.
- Direct sunlight
- Extremely high or low temperatures
- Excessive dust
Otherwise, malfunction or damage to the product may be caused.
• Do not place or hold this prodcut in the vicinity of a clock, magnetic
card, or other object that can be affected by the magnetic field of the
product.
Otherwise, the data on the affected device may be corrupted or
destroyed.
• Do not dry this product off with hot or warm air from a hair dryer.
Failure to observe this may damage the product.
• Do not do anything that might damage the headphone cable,
including the following:
- Placing the product near heating equipment, such as a stove
- Forcibly tugging on the product
- Bending or twisting the product
- Placing heavy objects on or pinching the product
These actions may cause a malfunction.
• Unplug the headphone cable connecting the headphones to your
audio equipment when you are not using this product. Failure to do so
may result in the headphone cable of this product getting pulled and
tipped over by your foot or the product may fall down, incurring
damage or otherwise causing a malfunction.
• When plugging or unplugging the headphone cable, make sure to grip
the plug with your hand.
If you pull too hard on the cable, the cable wires may break.
• When you connect the headphone cable to the headphones or to
audio equipment such as a headphone amp, make sure that the plug
is fully inserted.
If the plug is not fully inserted, you may hear no sound, or you may
hear breaks in the sound.
• When connecting the headphones to your audio equipment, do not
try to insert the wrong ends of the cable into the wrong jacks.
Forcibly inserting the plug may cause a malfunction.
• When connecting this product to a headphone amp or other such
audio equipment, carefully read the Owner's Manual for each device
and follow the instructions before connecting.
Mishandling such equipment due to a failure to follow the instructions
may cause a malfunction.
Handling the earpads
• Do not handle the earpads with wet hands.
This may cause deformation, discoloration or deterioration.
• Some parts of the earpads use all-natural leather, giving each one a
slightly different appearance and feel.
The leather surfaces may become discolored or wrinkled, depending
on how they are used.
• When putting the earpads on the headphones, lightly pull on them to
make sure that they won't easily come off. The sound quality may not
be as good if the earpads are not firmly attached.
• The earpads may naturally degrade over time, even when they are
stored and used normally. We recommend that you replace the
earpads soon if they have degraded.

Maintenance
(Headphones)
• When cleaning this product, be sure to unplug the headphone cable
connecting the headphones to your audio equipment. Failure to do so
may cause a malfunction.
• Use a dry and soft cloth when cleaning this product. Do not wipe the
surfaces with benzine, thinner, detergent, chemically-treated cloths,
disinfectant solutions containing alcohol or similar liquids. This may
cause discoloration or deterioration.
(Earpads)
• Use a dry and soft cloth when wiping the earpads.
• Do not use shoe polish, solvents (such as thinner or benzine), or
disinfectant solutions containing alcohol or similar liquids.
• Hair care products may cause damage to leather. If any such products
get on the earpads, carefully wipe them off.
(Headphone cable)
• If the plug of the cable is dirty, this may make the sound quality worse
or cause breaks in the sound. Use a dry and soft cloth to wipe the
plugs from time to time, to keep them clean.
• When cleaning the cable, unplug it from any other connected devices.
• Use a dry and soft cloth when cleaning. Do not wipe the surfaces with
benzine, thinner, detergent, chemically-treated cloths, disinfectant
solutions containing alcohol or similar liquids. This may cause
discoloration or deterioration.
