    MN010089A01-AB Chapter 1 : L6Q Camera System Overview LED Status Indicator The LED inside the USB-C Charging Port Door serves as a status indicator that can display power, error, pairing, and connection status conditions. To access the Status LED, open the Charging Port door with the Pin and Torx Tool.

CAUTION: Failure to review and complete pre-installation may result in difficulty during installation or aborted installations. Do not attempt to perform the pre-installation process while near active vehicle traffic or on a ladder.

Camera List Filtering If the Cameras list grows too long, it can be searched by camera name or filtered down to make finding a specific camera easier.

  • Page 35 Chapter 2 : Pre-Installation SIM and SD Cards Each L6Q camera requires an active MicroSIM card to upload detections and a MicroSD card to buffer detections in case of signal loss. A 32 GB MicroSD card is factory installed in each camera. If purchased as part of a subscription, an active MicroSIM card is also factory installed in the camera.

For solar panel deployments, the Solar Panel Batteries must also be fully charged. Charging all batteries at the same time is recommended, as they have similar charging times.

Pairing the camera during pre-installation enables installers to check that the camera is functioning properly in the Camera Details screen before attempting installation.     The product packaging or Quick Deployment Carry Case can be used to safely transport the camera and accessories to the installation site. Mounting of the 120V AC Power Adapter and cable management is dependent on the camera mounting location and distance to the power source.
