The RUGGEDCOM RS900F provides a high level of immunity to electromagnetic in- terference and heavy electrical surges typical of environments found on plant floors and curb-side traffic control cabinets.

Installing the Device in Hazardous Locations The RUGGEDCOM RS900F is designed to comply with the safety standards for Class I, Division 2, Zone 2 hazardous locations where concentrations of flammable gases, va- pors or liquids may be present, as opposed to normal operating environments.

It can be equipped with adapters that allow it to be attached to a DIN rail or panel.

Note The adapter features a sliding release with a slot at the bottom for a flathead screwdriver.
