Using only the front
speakers
Press SOUND FIELD +/– repeatedly
until "2CH STEREO" appears on the
front panel display.
This mode outputs the sound from the front
left and right speakers only. Standard 2
channel (stereo) sources completely bypass
the sound field processing. Multi channel
surround formats are downmixed to 2
channel.
Note
No sound is output from the sub woofer when "2CH
STEREO" is selected. To listen to 2 channel (stereo)
sources using the front left and right speakers and a
sub woofer, press SOUND FIELD +/– repeatedly to
select "A.F.D."

Adjusting the level
parameters
The level menu contains parameters that let
you adjust the balance and speaker volumes
of each speaker (page 26).

Start playing a programme source
encoded with multichannel
surround sound.

Press AMP MENU repeatedly.
9 LEVEL appears on the front panel
display.

Sit in your listening position and
select the item to be adjusted
using X/x.

Adjust the volume level using C/c.
The adjusted value will appear on the
front panel display. If you do not operate
the remote for a few seconds, the value
turns off and is stored in the receiver.
