Select a safe location to ensure safe operation of the device. Please pay caution
to the following:
Protect the device against environmental forces.
Protect the device from moisture.
Do not place any container filled with liquid substances i.e. vases, on top of
the device.
Never place the device on top of or in the close vicinity of heating sources
such as i.e. heaters, ovens, etc.
Do not expose the device to direct sunlight.
When placing the device ensure the location provides adequate ventilation
to avoid heat accumulation inside of the device. Ensure that ventilation slots
are not blocked.
Protect the device from mechanical percussions.
Always place the device on a sturdy flat surface.
Protect the remote control against environmental forces, moisture and ex-
treme temperatures (i.e. direct sun light).
Do not use the device while driving a vehicle.
The device can display a freeze frame for unlimited time on screen. This can
cause damage to the screen. Activate the screen saver
Setup" menu
Do not adjust the volume in the event a low volume segment is rendered.
This may cause damage to the speaker if suddenly followed by a high
volume rendition of a following segment.
To avoid damage to the device place only CD' s or DVD' s into the designated
slot.
During longer periods of non-use turn the device off (main switch).
Disconnect the network plug during a thunderstorm.
The device is intended exclusively for the following tasks:
Play-back of video-DVD / video CD' s
Play-back of audio-CD.
Playback of external media sources.
Any other use is considered non-intended use and is prohibited.
If the device should become defective at some point:
If the mains cord of this device becomes damaged, it must be replaced by a
special connecting cable that can be obtained from our customer service.
Should fluid have seeped into the device or if the device has been dropped
down or damaged in any other way, the device must be examined by an
authorized dealer. Disconnect the device from the power supply and consult
an authorized dealer.
