How to Stop the Engine
To stop the engine, be sure there is at least 3
feet (90 cm) of water so that debris or weeds
can't be drawn into the water inlet system.

NOTICE
Starting or stopping the engine in less than
three feet of water can damage the jet pump if
debris or weeds are drawn in.
Release the throttle lever and turn off the
engine when you no longer need jet thrust to
maintain directional control.
