Precautions for Use

• To keep the real-time preview fluid, the image data is compressed and
transmitted to a smartphone through a wireless connection at a reduced
resolution. You can download the video file to your smartphone or
remove the memory card to view the video in full resolution.
• When you activate the rear-view camera, you may notice some
interference in the image. This is normal phenomenon and cannot be
prevented.
• When you insert the memory card back into the DVR, insert the card
gently in the direction indicated by the card. Do not forcibly operate
insert the card or you may damage the card slot.
• The gesture sensing area should not be blocked by the rear-view mirror
or hanging objects. If possible, avoid locating the gesture sensing area in
direct sunlight.
• Install the DVR in a safe location on the upper middle part of the vehicle's
windscreen. Before use, calibrate the DVR with the DVR-Link app.
Otherwise, the vehicle motion detecting function will be affected.
Because the DVR detects the motion of the preceding vehicle with an
image algorithm, the following situations may cause false or missing
information: strong light, insufficient light at night, lane lines that are too
indistinct to identify, driveways, rainy and snowy landscapes that obscure
the forward view, excessive distance from other vehicles, slow-moving
vehicles, vehicles stopped for less than 5 seconds, etc.
• When the parking monitoring option is at high sensitivity, slight vibrations
such as rain may trigger video recording. This consumes excessive battery
power. It is recommended that you set the appropriate sensitivity level
according to the actual situation.
