- Page 3 FOR VALVE BODY (Hot on Left Side, Cold on Right Side) A) IRON PIPE Place Convertible Tailpieces (4) into Union Nuts (5). Assemble to body (D). Wrench tighten. Apply thread sealant to iron pipe and thread into Convertible Tailpieces (4). B) COPPER SWEAT Connect water supply (Hot on Left side, Cold on Right side).
- Page 4 Install 1/2 inch iron pipe length per recommended dimensions Remove stem protectors (5A) from threaded bonnets (5B). Place ange (seerough-in layout) to Elbow (4G). Screw Shower Arm (4B) into Elbow washers (5C) and then ange (5D) onto bonnets against the wall. (4G).Tighten until aligned and seal is achieved.
- Page 5 Before proceeding close COLD Valve (CLOCKWISE) and HOT Valve (COUNTERCLOCKWISE). Attach Handle Hubs (6A) onto Stems (6B) in desired position with Screws (6C). Assemble Decorative Lever Handle (6D). At- tach Buttons (6E). Reverse procedures to remove. Attach Handle Hubs (6F) onto Stems (6G). Attach French Lever Handles: (6H) Left, (6J) Center Diverter, and (6K) Right onto Handle Hubs (6F) with screws (6L).
- Page 6 STEM ROTATION SET UP Stem Stop (9A) can be inserted into Stem (9C) in either of two ways, depending on the rotation you want to have for your handles. When removing and/or installing Stem Stop (9A), you must look for Missing Tooth (9B) on both Stems (9C) and Stem Stop (9A), and align them.
