[Frame Rate]
When a video stream in JPEG format is selected in [Video Type], enter the maximum frame rate of the video to upload.
[Pre-event Buffer (number of frames)], [Post-event Buffer (number of frames)], [Pre-event Buffer (sec)], [Post-event Buffer
(sec)]
Enter the number of frames or seconds of the video to be saved in the buffer before and after the event.
When the JPEG format video stream is selected in [Video type], enter the maximum number of frames in [Pre-event Buffer
(number of frames)] and [Post-event Buffer (number of frames)].
When the H.264 or H.265 format video stream is selected in [Video type], enter the maximum number of seconds in [Pre-
event Buffer (sec)] and [Post-event Buffer (sec)].
Important
• The maximum video buffer capacity is approx. 56 MB (
the frame rate, pre-event buffer and post-event buffer may not be performed as set.
If buffering cannot be performed as set, a message is displayed to the log (P. 158). Confirm that no messages are displayed in the log
before use.
Note
• If the server or network load increases due to the upload settings, the video frame rate may drop. If this occurs, review the following
settings to reduce the size and frequency of data to be uploaded.
– Select a small size video stream (P. 58).
– Reduce the number of frames or seconds in [Pre-event Buffer] or [Post-event Buffer].
– If [Volume Detection Event] is enabled, disable [ON Event Operation], [OFF Event Operation] or [Ongoing ON Event Operation]
(P. 104).
– From the Intelligent Function [Event] tab, disable [ON Event Operation], [OFF Event Operation] or [Detected mode Operation]
(P. 119).
– If [External Device Input Event] is enabled, disable [Active Event Operation], [Inactive Event Operation] or [Ongoing Active Event
Operation] (P. 122).
– If [Timer Event] is enabled, increase the value in [Repeat Interval] (P. 124).

FTP Upload

Settings for the FTP upload function when [Upload] is set to [FTP Upload].
[Notification]
This is set to [Video].
[SSL Connection]
Select whether to enable SSL connection.
[Verify Server Certificate]
When [SSL Connection] is [Enable], set whether to verify the server certificate.
Note
• To verify a server certificate, it is necessary to import the CA certificate required for verification in [Security] > [Certificate Management]
> [CA Certificate Management] in advance.
[FTP Server]
Enter the host name or IP address of FTP server.
[User Name], [Password]
Enter the user name and password required for authentication.
[PASV Mode]
Select whether to use PASV mode when connecting to an FTP server.
[File Upload Path]
Enter a path name of the destination (directory name) for video files to be uploaded to.
[File Naming]
Select a file naming rule for the upload file.
[YYYYMMDDHHMMSSms]
Video is uploaded with the file name of "{year}{month}{day}{hour}{minute}{second}{ms}.jpg".
