Site Preparation

Do not unpack the chassis until you are ready to install it. Keep the chassis in the shipping container to prevent accidental
damage until you determine an installation site.
Before you install the Cisco RFGW-10, review the following:
• The environmental conditions your installation site must meet to maintain normal operation.
• The power requirements that must be in place at your installation site.
• The cabling requirements for your installation site.
• Rack-mounting requirements.
• The equipment required to install the Cisco RFGW-10 UEQAM.
