Your CMP205SX package includes:

ü Signal Cable
ü Power Cord
ü User Manual (current manual)
Please check immediately after opening the packaging and contact your supplier immediately if any items
are missing or damaged.
Also be sure to keep the packaging for use for future moving or shipping.
n n Before starting to use the monitor
When you connect the monitor to computer equipment, switch off both. Refer to the user manual of the
computer equipment for correct connection and specification of external monitors.
n n Connection with PC Equipment
Only connect the supplied video signal cable of the monitor to the video output of the PC equipment while
the power is off.
! CAUTION
Do not touch the video signal cable pins with unprotected hands.
n n Connection with PC Equipment
Connect the power cord to the AC inlet while the power of the monitor is off.
Note:
The power point should be close to the monitor and easily accessible.
Sudden voltage changes due to lightning etc. may cause failure of this equipment.
It is recommended that an AC uninterruptible power supply unit is used to prevent damage due to sudden
power supply changes.
! CAUTION
This PDP monitor does not provide plug-and-play capabilities. Before turning the power
to your computer system on, check to make sure that the horizontal and vertical
frequencies specified fall within the frequencies allowed for non-plug-and-play monitors.
