POSSIBLE PROBLEM
Microwave oven
interfering with radio,
TV or similar equipment.
Dim microwave oven light.
Steam accumulating
on door and hot air
coming out from vents.
House lights dim
when in use.
POSSIBLE PROBLEM
Microwave oven
will not start.
Frozen snacks or other
foods are not getting
crisp or brown.
When defrosting meat
or chicken pieces, the
edges are overcooking.
EASY SOLUTION
Clean door and sealing surface of the oven.
Reorient the receiving antenna of radio or television.
Relocate the microwave oven with respect to the receiver.
Plug the microwave oven into a different outlet so that microwave oven
and receiver are on different branch circuits.
When operating on low power levels, the microwave oven light may
be dimmer.
During operation, steam may be produced. Most will exit through the
vents, however some may accumulate around the oven door.
The outlet or wiring to the outlet may be underrated or the appliance may
be operating on a shared circuit. Ensure the appliance is connected to a
dedicated circuit.
POSSIBLE REASON
Power cord not plugged in
properly or switched on.
Fuse blown or circuit
breaker problem.
Trouble with outlet.
Crisper pan is not hot enough.
Too much food is being cooked
at one time.
Thicker or denser pieces of
food may take longer to heat
through and dry enough for
adequate browning.
Food is being overheated.
EASY SOLUTION
Unplug, put the plug in again
and switch on.
Replace the fuse or reset
circuit breaker.
Have a professional check that
the outlet is not faulty.
Preheat crisper pan for full
3 minutes.
Ensure that food is in a single layer
and all pieces are touching the
surface of the crisper pan.
Choose a higher AMOUNT when
programming a cooking cycle.
Remove food from microwave
oven when still slightly frozen in
the center. Allow to rest at room
temperature or in the refrigerator
until completely thawed.
