    LCD Screen • Never apply strong pressure to the screen or subject it to strong impact. Doing so can crack the screen or LCD panel glass, which can cause the danger of personal injury. • Should the LCD panel glass break, never touch the liquid inside. Doing so can cause skin inflammation.

    • Should fluid from the battery pack accidentally get onto clothing or your skin, immediately rinse it off with clean tap water. Do not let small children remove the battery pack from the charger unit or the Pocket PC Terminal while it is powered on.

Any unsaved inputs or edits remaining when you reset the Pocket PC Terminal are lost, but settings and data stored in memory are retained. Perform the reset operation whenever you find that the Pocket PC Terminal does not operate normally due to misoperation or some other abnormality.

Be sure to connect the AC adaptor to the Optical Communication Unit before starting a data communication operation with a Pocket PC Terminal.     Using a CompactFlash Card The Pocket PC Terminal supports use of the CompactFlash Type I card and Type II card (3.3V). The following describes how to load and replace a CompactFlash card. Important You must remove the Slot 0 card cover when using a laser scanner or another type of card whose use makes it impossible to close the card cover.

    Loading a Card into Slot 1 Slot 1 is mainly intended for use as a memory expansion slot. Since you have to remove the main battery (battery pack) in order to load or remove a card from Slot 1, you should use it for a card you plan to leave loaded in the Pocket PC Terminal for long periods.
