OVERHAUL KIT
R175RND Coil Roofing Nailer
THIS KIT INCLUDES:
Seal (9)
O-Rings (11, 13, 20, 22)
Collar (14)
Cylinder Cap Seal (15)

Cylinder Ring (23)
Tools needed (but not included): 1/8-in. punch for removing head
valve assembly, and 2.5 mm punch for removing trigger pivot pin.
REMOVING AND REPLACING O-RINGS AND SEALS
See Figures 1 - 3.
1. Disconnect the tool from the air supply and remove any fasteners
that remain in the tool.
2. Using a 5 mm hex key, remove the four bolts (5) from the top cap (8)
of the tool.
3. Remove the cylinder cap seal (15).
4. Remove the press ring (16).
5. Remove the driver unit (18) from the cylinder (19).
6. Tap the tool against a piece of wood as shown in Figure 1. This will
separate the cylinder (19) from the tool body. Set the driver and
cylinder aside.
7. Remove the cylinder spacer (21) from the tool body and set
aside.
8. Remove the muffler cap (2) using a 4 mm hex key. Set muffler
aside.
9. Using a 1/8-in. punch, gently push the valve assembly out of the
cap through the holes in the top of the cap.
10. Remove seal (9) and collar (14).
11. Remove o-rings (11, 13) on the head valve piston.
12. Clean all parts with a dry, clean cloth.
13. Apply a light coat of grease to new o-rings (11, 13) and install.
14. Reassemble parts in the order shown in Figure 2.
15. Push head valve assembly back into cap; apply sufficient pressure
to insure the seal (9) snaps into position.
16. Reinstall muffler assembly onto cap. Set aside and proceed with
cylinder maintenance.
