7.6.
CLEANING THE OIL DISCHARGE HOLE
7.6.1.
During use, smaller sawdust particles may build up in the oil discharge hole impairing the oil flow to the saw chain.
7.6.2.
Remove the sprocket cover, guide bar and saw chain. See section 4.1.
7.6.3.
Remove the small dust particles with a small flat head screw driver, a small brush or soft cloth (fig 23).
7.6.4.
Reinstall the sprocket cover, guide bar and saw chain. See section 4.2.8.

REPLACING THE SPROCKET
7.7.1.
Prior to fitting a new saw chain inspect the condition of the sprocket for wear (fig 24).
7.7.2.
Remove the sprocket cover, guide bar and saw chain. See section 4.1.
7.7.3.
Remove the sprocket cir-clip and sprocket (fig 25).
7.7.4.
Install the new sprocket and cir-clip.
NOTE: Always fit a new cir-clip when replacing the sprocket.

Reinstall the sprocket cover, guide bar and saw chain. See section 4.2.8.

PROBLEM
The chainsaw does not start

No oil on the chain

SOLUTION
Recharge the battery cartridge. Replace the battery if
recharging is ineffective
The chainsaw will automatically turn off if not operated
for a certain period. Switch the mains power on again.
Recharge the battery cartridge. Replace the battery if
recharging is ineffective
Fill the oil reservoir
Clean the groove
Adjust the oil delivery with adjusting screw
Correctly install battery cartridge
Recharge the battery cartridge. Replace the battery if
recharging is ineffective
Repair at authorised Sealey service centre
Adjust the guide bar and saw chain tension
Repair at authorised Sealey service centre
