Reamer Blade Replacement

Replace reamer blades if they are chipped or dull.
1. Remove reamer from its shaft by unscrewing
set screw with an Allen wrench.
2. Unscrew two cap screws that hold the blade to the
reamer cone. Replace the blade.
3. Reinstall reamer onto the shaft with the
screw.

Outside Deburring Disk

(Optional Accessory)
Keep facing cutter clean and free from chips for maxi-
mum efficiency.
Motor
Motor is equipped with a thermal overload that turns off
the motor in the event it develops excessive heat.
To reset the thermal overload, wait approximately 15
minutes for the motor to cool and remove the bottom
cover. Press the red button located on the end of the
motor opposite the reamer.
To prevent electrical shock, make sure

machine is unplugged from power source before remov-
ing cover.
Replace the cover and plug the machine into an elec-
trical outlet. Turn the ON/OFF switch to the ON position.
If motor does not start or the thermal overload continu-
ally trips during normal use, the machine should be
taken to an Authorized Service Center.

Machine Storage

Motor-driven equipment must be kept
WARNING
indoors or well covered in rainy weather. Store the
machine in a locked area that is out of reach of children
and people unfamiliar with cutting machines. This
machine can cause serious injury in the hands of
untrained users.

Service and repair work on this Copper Cutting and Prep
Machine must be performed by qualified repair personnel.
Machine should be taken to a RIDGID Independent
Authorized Service Center or returned to the factory. All
repairs made by Ridge service facilities are warranted
against defects in material and workmanship.
When servicing this machine, only identical replace-
ment parts should be used. Failure to follow these
instructions may create a risk of electrical shock or
other serious injury.
