Brushless motor is used. Motor stator is composed of a 3-phase coil, and there are
magnets on the rotor. On the Atlas Motor, the stator coils are energised by the help of
an inverter by detecting the rotor position without using a Hall sensor.
Communication between the vector board and the C7S display board ensures
transmission of commands to the vector board. The motor control unit and the main
board control unit communicate to control the motor speed. Main board is the prevailing
unit; what the reference speed will be is determined by the main board.
Under abnormal conditions (like continuous locked rotor status), the software provides
protection to prevent the motor from overheating.

Heater

3.5
It is used to heat the water inside the boiler.
Since it is an electronically controlled machine, there are double thermofuse at the
heater inlets.
When the heater operates dry, the overheated thermofuse open-circuits the heater.
Open circuited heater cannot be used again. In order to prevent the heater to operate
without water "during heating", heater safety water level is defined to the
microprocessor (Psafety). When the water level which is measured by the water level
sensor comes under the defined Psafety level, heater is disabled.
When the water temperature which is read by NTC reaches to the "selected
temperature", heater is disabled by the microprocessor.

NTC

3.6
It is a component which is used to measure the water temperature inside the drum
and resistance of which decreases when the temperature increases.
When the water temperature reaches to the adjusted temperature, heater is disabled
by means of the heater relay on the board.
